Fang Sheng uses Spirit to stabilize Physique, which is getting stronger and stronger. He usually resides in the cave without going out, and he has a Zen mindset when he walks, stands, sits and sleeps in the cave. When cultivating, Fang Sheng has no eyes to see, no ears to hear, no heart to know, no worries to feel, no dreams to sleep. To cut down expenses, they need to eliminate the living beings who can sense the Qi, so that there will be fewer cultivators and more spiritual Qi. In this way, peace can be maintained in the three continents.

The master Yuanshi was furious and blamed Fangli for being tainted by the demonic Qi, and his desire to kill. As a result, Fangli wanted to leave the sect and go his own way, but master Yuanshi refused to allow him to do so, so Fangli suddenly started to attack and hurt master Yuanshi. When Fangsheng came forward to stop Fangli, the two brothers fought for a long time, but it was hard to tell the winner. Later, Fangli drew the demonic Qi into his body and his cultivation increased, and his fist and palms became extremely powerful. Fangsheng, who was thinking of his brother's bond and the righteousness of his sect, was hesitant to fight, and eventually he was defeated, and his hundred years of cultivation was broken by Fangli, and his body was destroyed and was going to perish.

Afterwards, Fangli disappeared to the Western Continent. The master Yuanshi observed Fangsheng, although Fangsheng's body was destroyed but his soul was not extinguished. Then master Yuanshi damaged his own body to save Fangsheng, so Fangsheng returned to life. Ji Fangsheng's current life is not yet finished, but he seems to have arrived in the afterlife, his memories of his past life are all shattered, and at this time, he is like a newborn child descending into the world. After this accident, the master Yuanshi ordered that the gate of Duan Xuan Sect should be forever closed, and a restriction should be laid around the mountain to cut off the communication with the outside world.
