Feng Xu

First meet

Feng Xu, a scion of the declining Feng clan. Born unable to Sense Qi, she entered Heptastar Pavilion through mastery of ancestral secrets. Later, she awakened to Qi via the Pavilion's spiritual energy. Her cultivation advanced rapidly, reaching astrologer within years. Now co-governs the Celestial Authority Pavilion with senior Feng clansmen, overseeing arcane instruction.

Feng Xu fused clan secrets into two artifacts: Solitary Void Golden Scroll and Jade Scroll of Yin Symbol, which anyone who read them risk madness. Rumored vital to the Pavilion’s grand array—requiring Feng clan arts to control. Feng Xu wields them as talismans, Spirit use hexagram evolution to target enemies’ vulnerability.

Feng Clan

In antiquity, central clans migrated east. The prominent Jiang clan encountered the Fengs in the East Continent. The Feng patriarch declared:"Our ancestors deciphered the creation itself—receiving the He Chart and Luo Texts, deriving the Eight Hexagrams. With these, your eastward journey shall be safe."Guided by Feng divination and the Yan clan’s demon-taming prowess, the clans settled Liangzhou—a land "blessed by wind and water" and then founded the Dayan country.

Over millennia, the Jiang clan founded the Heptastar Pavilion, while the Fengs declined. Cursed for revealing nature's secrets, their heirs died young. Only two branches remain: one hidden in Dayan, one exiled to Lingguang.

Feng clansmen were often invited to the Pavilion as astrologers, governing the Tianquan Pavilion. Whispers claimed this privilege hid a bargain: the Pavilion sought their undivulged arts. Others said the Pavilion profited from Feng sacrifices, hence repaying them through generations.

As fewer Fengs could Sense Qi, they faded into obscurity—except Feng Xu. Though Qi-deaf in youth, she mastered ancestral texts. When asked why, she answered: "Our forebears’ wisdom must endure."

Admitted to the Pavilion for her knowledge, Feng Xu traveled the Three Continents with spiritual treasures. After seven years, she awakened to Qi. Her mastery surpassed peers, breaking all Pavilion speed records. The Pavilion Master promoted her to astrologer of Solitary Void, tasking her to "mend the Pavilion’s voids."

Golden Scroll and Jade Scroll

Since assuming Tianquan Pavilion, Feng Xu rarely taught. When students begged guidance, she dismissed them: "True understanding comes from within." Complaints of negligence reached the Pavilion Master. Compelled, Feng Xu had no choice but merged clan secrets into two books:

Solitary Void and Yin Symbol. "All secret arts lie reside here," she declared, placing them in the library.

Chaos followed. Readers wept, laughed maniacally, or collapsed in despair. The Pavilion Master realized: the texts’ Yin-Yang duality destabilized weak foundations. Feng Xu were forced to recall the books.

Though profound, none dared read them again. Feng Xu later channeled Pavilion arts through the bookss, forging them into talismans. In combat, she merges them—hexagrams swirling like a dark cosmos, striking vulnerabilities with lethal precision.

Hold the Indirect

Rumors claim the floating Heptastar Pavilion conceals a grand array. When activated, its towers align into Eight Hexagrams formations—four orthodox, four unorthodox—harnessing celestial energy to unleash thunderbolts that annihilate souls. Feng Xu, the cold and elusive keeper of this power, is believed to command it.

The Feng’s Eight Hexagrams, unseen for ages, are famed among the northern armies. Generals using it to reduce casualties and conquer the enemy. It is said masters of its "extraordinary" aspect could reshape the Three Continents.

Feng Xu hoards this power in shadow, while no one knows her true aim.

Despite her youth, Feng Xu acts like an elder—meditating, reading, avoiding debates and quests. Yet her cultivation soars, not like old men. Skeptics accuse the Pavilion Master of gifting her power.

Feng Xu holds the Indirect but not uses it, uses the Indirect but not crafty—walking the sage’s path.
