Lin Xiaoyue

First meet

Lin Xiaoyue in the Ruoshui Village at the foot of Lianyun Mountain is bewildered by her daily activities. When she entered the sect, she seemed to be possessed by evil spirits and behaved strangely. After being rescued by the suzerain, it seemed that the evil spirits had been driven away, but there was an extra spirit cat beside her. It seems that she has never practiced, but her Qi is far superior to that of her peers. Usually, you can't see her during the day, but at night you can hear the bells on her body resounding through the mountains. Interested people follow up to check, only to see one person and one cat, picking grass and eating in the back mountain at night, which is very strange.

Although Lin Xiaoyue usually behaved strangely, she showed no signs of neglect in her practice, and her sword moves seemed to be orthodox, especially the spirit sword moves which were quite reminiscent of the immortals.

Ruoshui Village

On the east side of the Lianyun Mountains, the streams transformed by the clouds flow down the mountain streams and converge into rivers at the foot of the mountains. But those cultivators are all passersby and most of the people left in the village are mortals. On every dark night, there are evils to eating those herbs or absorbing human spirits. The people were afraid of being hurt by the evil spirits, so they prayed for the ten thousand runes sect to protect their house. The house is safe inside but they dare not go out at night, but Xiaoyue is not afraid. Unable to sleep and played with spirits in the wood at night and sleeping in the morning, her parents asked her and answered "Traveling in the fairyland with friends". Her parents called her an idiot and worried all day long.

Spirit Cat Treading Snow Sword

When Lin Xiaoyue was young, she came across a white cat with a black tail and black brindle on its head lying in a ball under a plum tree. When she looked closely, it had wounds on its palms. It couldn't prey and its body was emaciated. Lin Xiaoyue took pity on it, applied herbal medicine to the wound, caught fish, and fed it. And the cat healed in a few days. The cat repaid her kindness and refused to leave for a long time, so she named it Snowball. Later on, the cat often went to the forest with Lin Xiaoyue at night, learning from her and also eating spiritual herbs in the forest like Xiaoyue.

One night, Lin Xiaoyue encountered an evil spirit while traveling at night and Snowball died protecting her master. After death, its soul lingered and attached to Lin Xiaoyue. And Lin Xiaoyue's black hair suddenly turned white and her face looked fierce and the veins in his hands burst out. In two or three strokes, the evil spirits were exterminated. After returning to the village, the people were horrified when they saw her, thinking that evil spirits had entered her body, so they hurriedly asked Cloud Spirit Sword Sect to kill it. It happened that Mu Yifeng was ordered to come here and seeing that Lin Xiaoyue didn't look evil and he brought her back to the Cloud Spirit Sword Sect for treatment. At the Could Spirit Sword Sect, the suzerain saw this, cast formation to call out the Snowball, took a snow-treading sword from the sword pool, and attached it to the sword. Lin Xiaoyue woke up and then gave the sword to her. It is also seen that her Qi is extremely strong so the suzerain was accepted as a disciple.

He went up to inquire and replied that Snowball likes nepeta, but Lin Xiaoyue couldn't find it all over the back mountain, so she planted it by herself. Besides, there are many spirits in the mountain at night and she can communicate with them, It was very beneficial for practice. The teacher was very surprised after hearing it and saw that there was no spirit to communicate within the mountains at night. But seeing that Lin Xiaoyue was only planting spiritual grass, the teacher stopped pursuing it.
